The Chosen Ones

Last week we had a review from the Gospel of Mark. We learned that tens of thousands of people have traveled from the four corners of Israel and beyond to see Jesus. We also learned that Jesus made a critical decision. He left the institution of the Synagogue behind. The Synagogue is where the nation’s leadership was to thrive and be a blessing to its people. Where humble, godly men were to lead and protect the nation of Israel. And because of the lack of leadership in Israel, Jesus does something unheard of. Today we are introduced to Jesus’ new leadership team.
