The Lord’s prayer is the perfect prayer. Dietrich Bonhoeffer said, “The Lord’s Prayer is not merely the pattern prayer, it is the way Christians must pray.” Martin Luther preached a volume on the Lord’s Prayer. The Lord’s Prayer is, without a doubt, the greatest prayer of the Christian church. And we’ll spend today learning the first part of it by focusing on God as Our Father.
