The Consequences of Unforgiveness

Today, we wrap up this short study on forgiveness with one last verse. I say it’s short because forgiveness is a topic that is inexhaustible—because the Gospel is inexhaustible. Today’s passage is one sentence and is a stunning commentary from Jesus Himself on what happens if Christians don’t forgive one another. There are always consequences in our lives when we choose to sin. However, the consequences for Christians in refusing to forgive someone else, despite all the forgiveness that Yahweh God has lavished upon us, prove several things about us and our character.
