About Us & The position
River Bible is a confessional Reformed Baptist Church located in Cottonwood, AZ. We exist to glorify God through teaching God’s Word verse-by-verse and sharing Jesus day-by-day.
The Music Leader collaborates with the pastor to oversee, manage, and lead the church’s music ministry during the weekly 9:30am worship service, with a focus on congregational singing.
MINISTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- 10 hours per week.
- Have a strong background in music and audiovisual technology.
- Possess excellent people skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Recruit, encourage, and schedule volunteer musicians to enhance worship.
- This ministry position has the opportunity for full-time service.
ABOUT THE COMMUNITY
Applicants must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Verde Valley (Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Camp Verde, Sedona, Prescott Valley) to fulfill the responsibilities of this role effectively.
We are located in the heart of Arizona—Cottonwood, AZ. Just 20 minutes from Sedona, sixty minutes from Flagstaff, and ninety minutes from Phoenix. The Verde Valley is ideally situated above the heat of the desert and below the cold of Arizona’s high country. Surrounded by the red rocks of Sedona to the northeast and Mingus Mountain to the southwest, its low elevation of 3,300’ and moderate climate are enjoyed year-round. There are tons of outdoor activities—state parks, historic sites and enticing attractions offer activities for all ages. From hiking, biking, river rafting and bird watching and more.
