Who Can Be Saved?

Today is part two of the Rich Young Ruler’s narrative. We left off with this young man walking away from eternal life to return home and cling to his temporary life. Unless this man repents of his sin and believes in the Gospel, he dies as one of the “richest” men in the cemetery. So we pick up the story with Jesus and the Twelve, watching this man turn his back on Jesus and walk away. So Jesus uses this opportunity as a teachable moment to show the Twelve how hard it is to get to Heaven. Peter asks one of the most important questions someone will ever ask—“Who can be saved?”
