A Bad Case of the Normals

Mark 14:26— After singing a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.
Most likely, this hymn was a refrain from Psalm 118 or 136.
It’s called a Hallel psalm which means “praise the Lord.”
The chorus is “His faithful love endures forever.”
cf. Psalm 136:1—Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His faithful love endures forever.
cf. Psalm 136:2— Give thanks to the God of gods.
His faithful love endures forever.
cf. Psalm 136:3— Give thanks to the Lord of lords.
His faithful love endures forever.
So it’s only after the Disciples sang this refrain that we come to our text today.
