Well, today is a theological doozy. Today, Jesus teaches us about The Purpose of the Parables. The reason that today's lesson is a doozy is because Jesus talks about his absolute right to do all things according to His own good pleasure. The words of Jesus today are unsettling, disturbing, and shocking. His words are so direct and bold many people—including Christians are offended and refuse to believe what Jesus says.
