Persecution: Living the Beatitude Life

If we live a Beatitude-style life, Jesus says we will be persecuted at some level because of it. We’ve learned in our study that these Beatitudes build upon one another. So what Jesus is saying is that if you actually apply the first seven Beatitudes, you will encounter the eighth. And the eight Beatitude deals with persecution, insults, and slander.
